The afternoon begins with a stop at one of the most spectacular wineries in all of the Okanagan Valley. The Poplar Grove Winery is set at the base of Munson Mountain, with the famous Penticton sign for all visitors to see. Poplar Grove has making wines on the Naramata Bench since 1993 but with its new wineshop, and Vanilla Pod restaurant, it is undeniably one of the most picturesque wineries in the region.

The Vanilla Pod restaurant, located in the Poplar Grove wine shop, is nothing short of incredible. Between the location and the delicious, fresh food, this is one of the top restaurants in the Valley. Be sure to stop in the Vanilla Pod for a meal or a snack to accompany your wine tasting; you will glad you did.

The afternoon ends with an evening at the historic Naramata Inn. This restored inn was originally built in 1908, housing a girls' boarding school. The charm of this inn, surrounding area (and incredible breakfast) is a fantastic end to a Fall retreat on the stunning Naramata Bench.
